Holiday region Saalbach
Impressive – summer
A summer holiday in Saalbach is a very special experience! An infinite choice of different attractions for hikers and mountaineers, bikers, families and adventurers are waiting here. There are over 400 kilometres of hiking trails to discover. You can shorten the ascent on your tours with one of the many summer mountain railways. At the summit, a grandiose panoramic view of the gently rolling Pinzgau Grasberge, the craggy peaks of the Kitzbühel Alps or the snow-covered Hohe Tauern awaits you.
As a mountain biker, the largest bike region in Austria also awaits you in Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn! A total of 9 mountain railways take you up to 7 different mountains. From there a variety of lines and trails lead down into the valley. If you like it more leisurely, you can choose from a huge network of paths on the valley floor, or you can explore the region on an eBike! Even off the hiking and cycling paths, there is guaranteed to be no boredom in our region! A high ropes course, bow course, canyoning, Mega Flying Fox, geocaching and much more will make your holiday an unforgettable adventure.
Fascinating – winter
A winter holiday of superlatives! The snow-assured region is home to the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn, one of the largest and most varied ski areas in the Alps. Over 270 kilometres of perfectly groomed pistes or deep snowy slopes. And best of all: the entrance to this huge ski area is right across from our resort! With the Zwölferkogel lift I + II you can reach almost 2,000 metres above sea level and there you can dare to go right up to the notorious World Cup and World Championship slopes. Or you can choose the Westgipfelbahn, which takes you up to Saalbach Hinterglemm’s local mountain – the Schattberg.
Around 60 cosy ski huts await you for a well-earned break during and after your skiing day. But that’s not all: countless snowshoe and ski tours await you. In addition, there are a large number of wonderful winter hiking trails on which you can get to know the idyllic snowy landscape of the region from a completely different perspective.
